Bakuchiol Synthesis Scale Up

Bakuchiol Synthesis Scale Up

While synthetic biology has significantly advanced in the past decade, cost continues to be a major factor in commercial viability. Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a commonly used microbial host in synthetic biology. These cultures can be grown to very high densities with high expression levels of target molecules, making S. cerevisiae a promising candidate for cost-effective natural product synthesis.
